Terms of Use

Effective date: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Alter app for iOS ("Alter", "the app"), published by cris-the-dev ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Alter you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"). If these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, these Terms apply to the extent permitted. If you do not agree, do not use Alter.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Alter on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

2. Your photos

3. Free version and ads

Alter is free to use with ads. Some features are offered in exchange for watching a rewarded ad, for example:

If no ad is available, we generally let you continue anyway. Ads are provided by third parties; see the Privacy Policy.

4. Alter Basic subscription

Alter Basic is an optional auto-renewable subscription. While it is active:

6. Our intellectual property

The app, its code, design, styles, name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not give you any rights to them except the license above.

7. Third-party services

Alter relies on services from Apple (App Store, StoreKit) and Google (AdMob, User Messaging Platform). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or ads.

8. Changes and availability

We may add, change or remove features, or stop offering the app. If we discontinue Alter Basic, we will stop future renewals. Refunds for unused periods are handled by Apple under its policies.

9. Disclaimer

Alter is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that results will meet your expectations. Keep your own copies of important photos.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Alter. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Alter in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory consumer rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using Alter at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your license if you breach these Terms. Sections 2, 6, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts there have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If you continue to use Alter after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
